Immunisation
Childhood Immunisation Clinic is run every Monday afternoon.
Child Health Surveillance
New babies will be invited to attend for a Child Health Surveillance when they reach 6 weeks
Ante-Natal Care
Wednesday 13:00 to 14:30; run by midwife Tracy Walker.
Asthma Clinic
Appointments are available at any time during the week run by our practice nurses.
Blood Clinic
Monday to Friday 09:00 – 10:00; Run by the Practice Nurses.
Minor Surgery
Minor Surgery procedures for joint injections, excisions or other similar problems. Please make an appointment to discuss this with a GP who will then arrange a Minor Surgery appointment if appropriate.
Liquid Nitrogen clinic is available on a Thursday and Friday morning from 08:30. Please note that this is a 5 minute appointment for Liquid Nitrogen only. If you wish to discuss any other matter with a GP, please arrange a routine appointment.
Chronic Disease Management
The following conditions are monitored by the Practice Nurses in collaboration with the doctors:
Asthma, Atrial Fibrillation, Cancer, Chronic Kidney Disease, COPD, Chronic Heart Disease, Dementia, Depression, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Heart Failure, Hypertension, Hypothyroidism, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health, Obesity, Palliative Care, Smoking, Stroke and TIA.
Well Woman and Family Planning
The Practice nurses carry out cervical smears and give breast awareness and menopause advice. Appointments are available Mon-Fri. Women are invited to attend every 5 years.
Family planning advice is offered by our GPs.
Contraceptive Services
The Practice is now offering Long Acting Reversible Contraception (Mirena Coil, Copper
Coil and Contraceptive Implants). Please speak to a GP, Nurse or your Health Visitor or
alternatively you can contact Reception for more information.
Well Man Appointments
Men are advised to make an appointment at least every 3 years.
Smoking Cessation
Our Health Visitor and our Practice Nurses offer advice and support for those who wish help in stopping smoking.
